Cerrato Smoked is made from pasteurised sheep’s milk, cured for more than 105 days. A balanced cheese in the mouth, with a perfect combination of the nuances from its maturation and its smoked aroma.

Appearance

Cerrato Smoked has a firm and compact texture, with amber tones in its rind and a yellow-orange interior. When this cheese is cut, it has unevenly distributed eyes of varying sizes.

Taste

Intense flavour due to its smoky notes. Elegant and enveloping on the palate, with high persistence in the mouth and an intense but non-persistent aftertaste. 

Smell

Intermediate dairy and animal aromas. It has a deep aromatic profile due to the smoking process.

Touch

It is a product with an unctuous texture, but with slightly rough nuances due to its ripening.

Serving Suggestions

Consume at an optimal temperature of 16ºC, open at least 20 minutes before consumption and leaving it at room temperature to enjoy all its aroma and flavour.
